Project Urban has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, career minded Surveyor to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. The role offers the opportunity to work within a team of multi-disciplinary property development professionals & industry leaders including Town Planners, Landscape Architects & Project Managers.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their surveying career within the property development industry on the Sunshine Coast and the Southeast Queensland surrounds. Project Urban continues to play a leading role in shaping the Sunshine Coast region through an extensive variety of projects & clients.
Project Urban offers the successful candidate the ability to be mentored by experienced & supportive field & office staff, covering both technical skills &professional development.
Qualifications & experience required:
- A minimum 3 yrs full-time experience in a Survey party leading role within the development industry
- Current registration with Surveyors Board of Qld as an Associate, Graduate Surveyor Registered Surveyor or with a view to register in the future
- Qld Driver Licence – manual transmission
- Full working rights for Australia
- Experience using Trimble Total Stations, GNSS & Scanners would be an advantage
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Trimble business center software would be highly regarded
- General proficiency in Microsoft excel, word & outlook
- Excellent time management & communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Searches – cadastral, services, approvals
- Job preparation, pre calculations, data processing, sketches, quality assurance
- Perform field surveys – cadastral, topographic, community title, construction, leases, subdivisions, GNSS, secondary interests, control, vegetation
- Communications & reporting – management, client, consultants & contractors
