Project Urban is pleased to be acting as the Town Planning consultant for a landmark mixed-use development proposed at 6–8 Baldwin Street, Caloundra for KOJO Baldwin Pty Ltd. Designed by Twohill & James Architects, the proposal seeks approval for a contemporary four-storey health care and office development that will transform an underutilised site within the heart of the Caloundra Major Centre.
Featuring an architecturally distinctive podium-and-tower form, the development incorporates deep articulation, integrated landscaping and a strong street presence that contributes to the evolving urban character of the Caloundra town centre. The design responds to the site’s prominent location while creating an attractive and modern commercial destination that supports both employment growth and community services.
In addition to its Town Planning role, Project Urban has also provided Landscape Architecture services, helping to shape and enhance the overall design outcome. Working closely with a multidisciplinary consultant team, Project Urban has contributed to bringing the project vision to life. As Caloundra continues to evolve as one of the Sunshine Coast’s key activity centres, developments such as this play an important role in delivering high-quality commercial and healthcare infrastructure. The project will support investment, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing revitalisation and growth of the Caloundra town centre.
