This month, we lodged a DA for an important housing project in North Lakes. Our client, Youngcare, is a not-for-profit organisation that provides accommodation support for young Queenslanders with high-care needs.
We feel genuinely privileged to be involved in a project like this. A project that will improve the lives of young members of our community.
The application is for accessible, mixed-use housing for young people with high physical-care needs. It will be located in the state’s fastest-growing suburb, North Lakes.
Project Urban’s Brisbane Office manager, Phil Akes, said there was a lack of accessible housing in the Moreton Bay Region, meaning this would be a much needed project for our young people.
“It will allow them to live with dignity and choice as valued members of the wider community,” he said.
“The site is the perfect location, with great access to shops, amenities, medical facilities and public transport,” he said.
The development will feature state-of-the-art technologies and high-care equipment, as well as on-site and around-the-clock care.
The project is expected to be completed in late 2019. For more information, contact Phil Akes at Project Urban’s Brisbane office 07) 3257 4371.
