Details: Following the flood event of February and March 2022, Project Urban worked alongside Brisbane City Council and chosen contractor Marine Structures for the replacement of pontoons on public land along the Brisbane River. A Special Circumstances policy was issued by the State Government in response to the flooding event to allow lawful structures to be replaced without a new development application being made.   Project Urban provided feedback in relation to the proposed design plans to ensure compliance with the State’s policy, lodged each request with the State department and liaised with department officers prior to each final consent for works being issued.
