Project Urban recently assisted Thompson Brain and Mind Healthcare (TBMH) to obtain master planning approval and provide survey services for their new mental health treatment and research facility at the Birtinya health hub.
This state-of-the-art facility has been designed to provide world-class mental health treatment and research with a primary focus on translating mental health research discoveries into real-world treatments.
It will be equipped with the latest technology and equipment including advanced imaging, diagnostic tools and neuroimaging for precision treatment of mental health disorders. This facility has been touted as having the potential to transform current mental health treatment and research approaches.
Designed by the BRD Group, the project provides a contemporary eight storey medical building incorporating vertical and horizontal articulation to the facades, feature screens, decorative facade treatments and uses varying materials. Substantial open air terrace spaces and signature landscape elements are integrated into the building design.
